The Bullets and Bordellos Ghost Tour FAQ
Everything you need to know before you go
Why is the Bullets and Bordellos Tour adults-only?
This tour is designed for guests 16 and older because it features mature themes, strong language, and graphic historical accounts of violence, crime, and the darker side of Tombstone's Wild West past. The content includes stories about brothels, gunfights, murders, and other adult subject matter that makes it unsuitable for younger audiences.
What type of mature content should I expect on this tour?
The Bullets and Bordellos Tour includes graphic historical accounts of violence, shootouts, murders, and the salacious aspects of frontier life including stories about brothels, prostitution, and outlaw culture. Our guides use strong language and don't sugarcoat the gritty reality of life and death in the Old West. This raw, authentic approach is what makes this tour unique.
What makes this tour different from the family-friendly tour?
Unlike our family-friendly Dead Men's Tales tour, the Bullets and Bordellos Tour dives deep into the darker, more scandalous side of Tombstone's history. You'll hear uncensored stories about the town's brothels, violent deaths, criminal activity, and the seedier establishments that made Tombstone notorious. The tour features mature language and graphic content tailored for an adult audience seeking a more intense, authentic Wild West experience.
How long is the Bullets and Bordellos Tour and how much walking is involved?
The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes) and involves a moderate amount of walking through Tombstone's historic district. The terrain is relatively flat on paved and dirt surfaces. We recommend comfortable walking shoes and dressing appropriately for the weather, as this is an outdoor walking tour.

The Bullets and Bordellos Tour begins at 8:30 PM (20:30) and runs nightly. The tour meets at the intersection of 3rd and Fremont Streets in Tombstone. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to check in with your guide. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
