Savannah is often called America’s Most Haunted City—and with good reason. Around every corner of the Historic District, ghost stories linger in the streets, the squares, and the centuries-old buildings. When you join a Ghost City Tour, you'll have the chance to explore some of the most infamous (and hidden) haunted locations the city has to offer.
Our tours are carefully curated to showcase Savannah’s rich haunted history, and each one follows a different route with its own set of chilling stories. While exact stops may vary from night to night, depending on time, weather, and guide discretion, we always aim to take you to the most compelling, atmospheric, and supernaturally active locations in town.
Many of the places we visit have been featured on television shows like Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters—but others are lesser-known haunts that we’ve uncovered through years of research, interviews, and paranormal investigation.
Below, you’ll find a few of the haunted locations that are commonly included on our tours. While routes can change without notice, each stop is handpicked to give you an unforgettable experience in Savannah’s haunted heart.
Widely considered the most haunted location in Savannah, Colonial Park Cemetery is the final resting place for many thousands of Savannahians.
Guests on our Ghost Tours often report having a paranormal experience when visiting this cemetery after dark. Orbs, shadow people, and other experiences are had by the guests who take our tours.
Read about the Ghosts of Colonial Park CemeteryPerhaps the most notorious haunted house in Savannah, 432 Abercorn has been the subject of many ghost stories and rumors for years.
While the truth about the hauntings at 432 Abercorn is up for debate, what isn't up for debate are the experiences our guests have while visiting the house. Orbs are commonly photographed, peoples' cameras will mysteriously stop working - and people have even reported becoming sick, impacted by the negative energy surrounding this house.

This restaurant and brewhouse is said to be the most haunted building in Savannah. That is a pretty bold claim! What we do know is that guests on our Haunted Pub Crawl do say that they've felt the presence of a ghost while touring the building.

ALL of our Ghost Tours are Walking Tours. You do have other options, such as Hearse Ghost Tours and Trolley Ghost Tours. To FEEL the energy which our ghosts give off, you have to be in the actual places where the haunting takes place. Imagine walking through a haunted alley with all of the lights out, or standing on what was once a battlefield. Are you already feeling the tingles up your spine?
Can I buy tickets for your Ghost Tours through Groupon?
Ghost City has never sold Groupon vouchers - and we never will. There are companies that offer their tickets for sale on Groupon. And if you're not worried about the quality of the tour you're getting - you can certainly spend some time on Groupon or Living Social and find tickets.
We know that our experiences are of the highest quality, with thousands of 5-star reviews from tourists and locals who have enjoyed them. Also, we often sell out - especially on the weekends and on Holidays. There is simply no reason why we'd sell our tours on Groupon.
Does Ghost City Tours offer Trolley or Carriage Ghost Tours?
There are a few options to take a ghost tour by vehicle. In Savannah, you can choose from a Trolley Ghost Tour or even one in a hearse.
If you're interested in taking one of these trolley ghost tours or a hearse ghost tour, you'll have to go to those companies' websites and buy from them. We believe that walking tours are the best way to experience paranormal activity in Savannah.
We understand that you may have your heart set on riding around the haunted streets of Savannah in a Hearse or Trolley - but you cannot do this from Ghost City. If you want a paranormal experience that is truly spooky, Ghost City is the way to go.
Is this a Ghost Tour where we go into Haunted Places?
Some locations allow us to come in; most don't. Many of the locations that you'll be visiting are private residences. Obviously, the residents would not be happy about us coming into their homes. Therefore we do not go into most of the locations we visit.
If you're looking for a Ghost Tour where you can enter the building itself, we highly recommend our Haunted Pub Crawl. Every stop on the Pub Crawl allows you to enter the building - and sometimes even into areas off access for the general public.
Once I purchase tickets, can I get a refund?
All ticket sales are final. Like any other performance, and yes, our Tours are performances, we can only admit a limited number of people. Therefore, we cannot give you a refund should you decide not to attend.
However, we're not a bunch of unreasonable monsters. We allow our guests to reschedule their tickets to another date or time, as long as you do it at least 12 hours in advance.
For your family ghost tours, what is the age of a child?
When it comes to buying tickets for our tours, the following classes of tickets are based on age.
Keep in mind, some of our tours are simply for ages 16+ or 21+ only. For those tours, there is only one ticket type you can choose from.
What days of the week are your Ghost Tours available for?
All of our Tours run 7 days per week. In addition, we often open up additional time slots for our tours as the original time sells out. If you want to book a tour Ghost City Tours will ensure that we are able to fit you in a tour. We still advise you to purchase your tickets as soon as you know which tour you want to take.
How much are your Ghost Tours?
Our tours are priced differently. However, the price for an average ghost tour in Savannah is between $19.99 and $34.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids ages 6-11, and free for anyone little ones 5 or under.
Our Grave Tales Tour has 3 ticket types. If you have any children who are 5 years old or younger they are free. Any children between the ages of 6 and 11 are $9.99 each. Guests on the Grave Tales Tour who are 12 or older are $24.99.

What is the scariest ghost tour in Savannah?
While many people find our ghost tours scary, we prefer not to use the word 'scary' because it is so subjective. What is scary for one person is probably not scary for someone else. What we will say is that our tours do tend to be pretty spooky!
If we had to pick one of our tours which more people would consider scary, it would be the Dead of Night Tour. Since it does focus on the darker hauntings in Savannah, like demonic hauntings, more people find the Dead of Night Tour more scary than our other tours.
You can purchase your tickets online, or by phone. In either case, you'll receive your tickets immediately via email. You must buy your tickets in advance.
While Ghost Tours are what we are known for, Ghost City Tours also offers a Bonaventure Cemetery Tour.
Daily, you can join our talented and entertaining tour guides as they explore the beautiful lanes of Bonaventure Cemetery. While this is not a ghost tour, it is highly educational and a great time!
