What better way to cap off your Halloween weekend than with a live music festival celebrating local and regional music. This costumed concert will be held on Halloween day in Colonial Oak Music Park, nestled in the historic district between some of St. Augustine’s most haunted attractions.

Why just trick-or-treat when you can stamp your feet and boogie down alongside the “Ancient Cities” most notorious boogeymen. The festivities will include a costume contest with cash prizes, and your entry ticket will not only get you in to see the tunes, but will land you a spot on the Colonial Haunt: Lost Garrison.

This 20-minute walking tour that begs the question: what would life have been like for St. Augustine’s colonists if they were overrun by giant, man-eating spiders. If you haven't wondered the same thing, then you might be in the wrong place, but for those of you who think a weekend of live music and monster spiders sounds like a Halloween dream come true, then this event is right up your alley.

Boos and Brews 5k

Looking to put some miles on your Halloween costume this year? Then head on down to Ancient City Brewing’s Boos and Brews 5k and 1 mile run where fun and fitness are fixin’ to take a frightful turn this Halloween season.

It’s not all tank tops and short shorts for this popular race series because costumes are not only allowed, but encouraged. So, whether you are looking to cross the finish line as a marathon mummy, sprinting spirit, or walking werewolf, you will already have everything you need to enjoy the afterparty that includes music, food trucks, and a Halloween costume contest that will be judged live by the audience.

Finishers will also receive a pint of Ancient City Brewing beer, a race shirt, and a finisher medal, so what more do you need to take this candy-coated caloric holiday and turn into something body positive. The race will be held on Saturday, October 30th at 5:00 pm, and the hosts recommend you register early because it is known to sell out.
