This holiday season, Ghost City Tours is bringing families back to what matters most: real, in-person, hands-on experiences far away from screens. On December 6th and 7th, children and families are invited to reconnect with curiosity, creativity, and the joy of shared adventures at Dinos in December: Ghosts of Prehistoric Past, an immersive fossil workshop and family-friendly ghost walk taking place at the Ghost City Tours Headquarters in Gettysburg.

Designed to spark imagination in young explorers and ignite a sense of discovery in the whole family, the weekend blends paleontology, local history, and holiday charm. Hosted by Ghost City Tours and led by fossil expert Andrew Darling of Outlaw Fossil Preps, this event offers children the rare opportunity to roll up their sleeves, touch real prehistoric specimens, and experience the thrill of learning through doing, not watching.

From hands-on fossil preparation to cozy cocoa and ghost stories during the annual Gettysburg Christmas Festival, this event creates lasting memories while celebrating the wonder of discovery and the magic of the holiday season.
